Conscious Trap
/kon-shuhs trap/
(noun)
The paradoxical duality of being woke to both the ratchetness & righteousness of our existence.
.
.
Although black people are often portrayed as drug dealing criminals and glorifiers of the trap lifestyle, it is important to showcase the fact that we are also responsible for the creation & mastery of writing, language, mathematics, the arts, science, medicine, economics, philosophy and everything else under the Sun from spiritual ideals to algebraic equations. Learning the Truth about the hidden history of our ancestors meaningful discoveries, inventions & contributions allows us to realize their legacy is much more than just being "three-fifths of a man."
.
We believe that the biggest Truth comes in understanding that Black History does not begin with slave shipscivil rights. Slavery is not Black His-story; slavery interrupted our-story. Black is color, culture, consciousness; and a corresponding connection to hundreds of thousands of years of sophisticated global greatness.
.
The Truth shall set us free. We have been taught that knowledge makes a man unfit to be a slave, and more importantly, knowledge of self is the best way to restore Respect in a people. The Respect must first be reborn within the heart and mind of the individual, making it that much easier to then do so with one another. The high frequency Respect level for each other will directly increase the amount of Action we are able to take as a collective unit, allowing the Power to return back to the original people.
The Conscious Trap culture champions the four principles of Truth, Respect, Action and Power.
